MORE SUGAR TODAY

Hello everyone.... 

 

 

It seems so long since I have posted a card. I must admit, I have been struggling to get back into the swing of things since my holiday.

I have been working on my Digi Bells cards though.

 

 

I had a little break today and made this card, with a Sugar Nellie, Adorable range  , digi. She is called " Verity ".

 

 

I have done her with copics.

 

 

I used that gorgeous paper " Hearts Ease " by Couture Creations for this card. I am going to have to get another of them as I just want to use it all the time.

 

The butterfly is from a Spellbinders set.

The sentiment card is from the pad as well.

dress and bow  done with RV 99,95,93,91.

MUM AND ME

Hi Peeps !!

 

 

Tiddlyinks have a few new stamps out and I really liked this one

Called Mom and Me, available in Digi

 

 

 

 

I have used Prisma pencils on Canson 220 Drawing Paper

 

 

A little aged ivory Frantage around the edges.

The gold  embellie is from Wild Orchid crafts.

 

The leaves die is from the latest Tattered Lace Magazine NO 18

I really like this die and the little curly bits on it.

 

Sentiment is from Gina Marie set called Mothers.

I got the little black clip on my recent trip to NZ .

I have used a Kaisercraft paper called "75cents"

 

 

Some seam binding ribbon and some flowers from Wild Orchid crafts to finish my card off nicely.

Gold , Y21,23,26,28

 

Hair , E59,57,  Y21

Today is world challenge day over at Elisabeth Bells world challenge blog.

A BIT OF LILLY FOR PARADISE OF STAMPS !!!

Hello peeps of the Blog world..

 

I have done a card for the Paradise of Stamps challenge Blog.

 

This is my first card as a DT for them.

 

It is a nice little blog and some good challenges.

I get to make cards with any image I like , and this first time

I have used one of the new LOTV stamps.

I have used distress inks for this card. The theme was " Monochromatic" ( I always have trouble with this theme trying to do everything with one colour )

However I think you get the idea .

The lovely frame is a Paper Artist die.

Lovely paper from Pion.

 

 The birdcage and tag are those Doohickeys club series dies.

The little sentiment is also from Lilly of the Valley.

BIRTHDAY CARD FOR A DAUGHTER !!

I have a special card to share with you all today. I made this for my beautiful daughter for her 40th birthday. It reminded me so much of her as a little girl. I loved making this card with this Sugar Nellie image. 

Lots of detail in this card. She is coloured with copics. The flower die to the right is a Tattered Lace and I have embossed it and put glossy accents on to give them dimension.

LOVE IS WHAT MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND !!

Well here I am again. This time I have a lovely stamp for you from Sweet Pea Stamps. She is called " Love " and is by Ching-Chou kuik. You can get her HERE.

ANOTHER LITTLE BIT OF SUGAR

I am so enjoying my Inktese pencils that I wanted to do another of these lovely little Sugar Nellies. They are just the cutest little girlies

I have put some stickles on her wings.

The little bow is from Sue Wilson. 

She is called " Little bit of gossip "  and you can find her

AND  another little bit of sugar 

I had bought this stamp months ago , but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Well it turned up , just while I was enjoying these Sugar Nellie 

fairies. 

She is only in rubber at this stage but you can get her

here if you love her as much as I did. 

Done with inktense again.

I have stitched around the papers with my sewing machine.

And she has got glittery wings too.

SARAH KAY TIME !!

The greens make a nice change and this is a Sarah Kay stamp I have had for a while. You can still pick them up if you look around.

I have done this with distress inks, and a grey inktense pencil for the watering can.

                 The corner I got off the latest Tattered Lace magazine.

Frame is a Cherry Lyn. Joy crafts leaves flourish, and the other one is from memory box.

Colours used were . Old Paper, peeled paint, Tattered Rose , vintage photo and milled lavender. One thing about distress inks is that you dont use a million colours. Best to put all your copic techniques out of your mind when using them as well. 

PPINKY PRINCESS

I have been really naughty again and forgot to post my cards on my blog. !! so you have got three today to look at. This one is a Ppinkydoll. She is over at Etsy. 

I have coloured her with inktense watercolour pencils. 

The castle die is a cut my friend Deb sent me from the UK.

It is a Tattered Lace die.

The sentiment is computer generated. 

 

A LITTLE PPINKY CELEBRATION

I am thrilled to tell you that I was chosen to be on the Ppinkydolls new release team as a DT. So I made a little card to celebrate.

A LITTLE BIRDIE TOLD ME ........

Time for another Whimsy Stamp. Done by Elizabeth Bell. She is called " Little Sweet Tweeter " and you can find her here.

I have used a Tonic die for the frame and frantaged a little around the image.The sentiment is computer generated. 

The little birdcage is a Tim Holtz die. I love the colour of those little pink roses. I have no idea where they came from, but the other flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. 

Lovely papers are from Michelle R Designs .

LITTLE BLUE POLKA DOT

Another of Whimsy's Elizabeth Bells stamps. I have coloured with copics. She is just so sweet. You can get her here.

I have stamped the whimsy postage stamp sentiment onto the paper used , which is a Maja Design paper, and just cut around it on the lines. Then cut out the die and glued it to the sentiment.Also heat embossed the sentiment.

The frame is from Spellbinders. The border to the left is a new one from Noor design. The blues used were B91,93,95,97 and the pinks were RV 91,93,95,99. These are the best blues for that denim look.

All flowers from Wild orchid crafts. Cottage rose,white cherry blossom, 15,20,10 mm open roses.

A WEE POLLY

Time for another little Wee stamp. She is called Polly. Sylvia Zet does such cute faces on them..

Used a couple of new dies I got this week. The frame is Marianne and the eight point star is a noor design. The little postcard and dragonfly just sets this nicely. Sentiment from LOTV. Most of the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. There is a little resin flower at the bottom. 

Copics used to colour. I must learn to write them down.

YG01,03,YG21,87 BLUE 21,23,24.

A DANDY LITTLE POLKADOODLE.

I thought it was time to colour up another of these little Polkadoodles girls. This time with copic pens. You can find them here. She has got the twirliest dress. 

 The lovely papers are from Paper Mania called " Parisienne Blue" The Frame die is from Tonic.The sentiment from LOTV. 

Leaves are a tattered lace die as is the flourish.
Here is a close up of the flowers used. I had to come back and edit as I forgot to tell you about the butterfly. It is a spellbinders die and I have made antenna and sprinkled distress glitter on it. 

Some beautiful flowers on this card. The two fabric ones I bought from a lady on FaceBook who makes them and she does a lovely job of them.

This is the first time I have done one of these cards with images from Art by Miran. It was a pleasure and will be doing more I am sure.

Isn't she sweet. Coloured with copic markers. The v90,s and R 41,42,43. The border at the bottom is a Memory Box die. Bluebells from Tattered Lace. The lovely sentiment is from " Our Daily Bread ". The little gold bling up in the corner is one of the new ones from Wild Orchid Crafts. 

LOTV FOR A CHANGE

I love these vintage look cards. That seems to be my comfort zone. This is a Lilli of the Valley Stamp. I have coloured her with one of my favourite colour combos. The RV 90,S and the V 90,S.
She is such a sweetie. 

Got to use some new dies I had arrive this past week. Kim over at SCRAPPYKAPERS is so helpful and will always get you what you want even if she doesn't have it in. 

The frame is a Joy Crafts die, the handbag is Joy crafts. The old gramaphone is a Tattered Lace die.Flourish from Memory box. And the gorgeous papers are from Basic Grey called Plumeria.
