This image is one of the decades era images from Saturated Canary. I liked her pretty face , so I cropped her down.

 

 

 

 

 

She is coloured with copics.

 

 

I have used a Marianne frame and the heart is from spellbinders.

Butterfly is noor design.

The sentiment is whimsy that I have stamped and embossed on the background paper.

EVERY GIRL NEED'S A LITTLE BLACK DRESS, RIGHT !!

I was thinking that this beautiful girl needs to be in a black dress, so here she is.

 

 

 

I have done her in Prisma pencils although I have used Polychromo;s on her hair , as you are able to get a better point on the poly,s for finer streaks.

 

 

 

Papers were called " little black dress" by Basic Grey.

 

I put lots of frantage on this one .

 

 

Here's a little close up , as the rose trim at the bottom didn't show up that well and it looks so lovely.

Sentiment is from Whimsy , that I have embossed with gold.  

 

Colours used for her hair were in the poly's

Black,Sepia,dark grey and a little nougat.

 

 

Colours used in Prisma for her dress were Black, dark grey and 10% cool grey.

HYDRANGEA IN BOW

Hi peeps.

Today I have a card done with a new Ching Chou Kuik digital image called " Hydrangea in bow "

I love these vintage looking girls.

I have inked with vintage photo all edges and put dome antique white frantage around the image.

 

The papers were from Prima called " Time travellers memories " I love these papers. The Butterfly and leaves are from Joy crafts Noor design.

 

I dies the lace with walnut crystals as well to shabby it up.

 

The Sentiment is from whimsy and I stamped it on a little tag which was in the paper pad and embossed it.

A pen nib for the centre of the butterfly ( I was determined to use these one day ) and a little gesso and it was all done.

SWEET AND FRAGRANT

We have had a very wet weekend so I enjoyed making this card.

It is called " Sweet and Fragrant " by Ching Chou Kuik and you can get this at her Etsy store HERE.

IT'S A BREEZE !!

Hi blogland peeps.

 

 

I wanted to do something a little different for a change .

 

I decided to make a rocker card, as I haven't done this before.

 

 

The Saturated Canary stamp is a rubber one that you can get from Little Darlings.

 

 

She is called " Breeze "

 

I have coloured her with Polychromo's on watercolour paper. This worked very well and allowed me to give layers and depth of colour.

 

 

 

I made the little envelope with a template from Michelle R design.

As for the card it self I used a Grand Spellbinders die Scalloped Ovals , that I drew around and just cut out by hand..

JUST FOR YOU CAUSE YOURE SPECIAL.

 

 

I have been wanting to make this for ages, and finally got around to it.

 

She is called " Peggy " from Mo's Digital Pencil.

 

I have done this one with Distress Inks.

 

 

The papers are Maja design Vintage Summer .

 

I have Distressed and inked the edges. Then stitched  around with my machine.

The leaf is a new die I got yesterday from Fat Cats and is a Joy crafts die.

I have attached a little bear charm with some chain.

A MAY DAY

I have been having a lovely time catching up with my Saturated Canary digi's that I have been wanting to do for a long time , so here is another.

 

 

 

 

 

 

She is called May I have coloured her with inktense pencils.

The lovely papers I have used this time are from the Antique Rose collection by Couture.

I have cut a round butterfly die from Noor and put little butterflies that match the papers.

The frame is from Spellbinders.

A little resin rose corner and glossy accents to her eyes and lips.

 

 

I made two matching rolled roses and put a pearl in the centres.

MURIEL

Two in one day .I had such a peaceful day that I was able to finish this card with Muriel. A digi from Saturated Canary.

 

 

 

 

She is so soft and pretty and very sweet.

I have done this on watercolour paper with Inktense pencils and a brush.

 

I hand dyed the lace pink to match.

some glossy accents to her eyes and lips.

The sentiment is from Whimsy.

 

I made two little rolled roses with the pearls in them.

 The gorgeous papers are the new Pion Design called Paris flea market.

Don't know how I could bring myself to cut them.

 

 

Some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The twirly twigs are the stems you cut off the flowers .

OUT OF THE COMFORT ZONE !!

Hello Blog peeps ....

 

I have called this post " out of the comfort zone" because that is what this card is for me.

 

 

I have done something completely different from my usual type of card.

 

This is a new Saturated Canary digi image.

 

 

 

I have distressed all the edges and inked them up with Vintage Photo distress ink.

 

The papers I have used are from Michelle R designs digital papers.

 

Called Shabby Purple Charms.

 

 I have used some frontage around the image.

I dyed the lace with some walnut crystals to grubby it up.

 

I knew all those old flowers I have been hanging onto would come in handy one day. It doesn't pay to throw anything out, you never know when you may need it.

The butterflies are a Noor Design border and the birdcage is a Dixie die.

 

Sentiment from Whimsy ticket stamps and die.

 

 

I enjoyed making this card and think I might do another tomorrow. !

The butterfly die is a Tim Holtz die. and the flower is from Tattered lace dies.

 

I have used a Kaisercraft paper called "75cents"

 

 

Some seam binding ribbon and some flowers from Wild Orchid crafts to finish my card off nicely.

Gold , Y21,23,26,28

 

Hair , E59,57,  Y21

DRAGON FLY LOVE ELISABETH BELL ....

 

 

Hello all.

 

We have a very wet day here today , with a cyclone hitting the east coast of us here in Australia.

 

We are safe at this stage from it, but lots of flooding rain.

 

A good day for card making at least.

 

 

They are looking for some guest design team members  over at " Digi Bells" so I thought I might apply for it.

I adore her stamps and have done lots of cards with her images on them.

 

 

I think I was supposed to use a sketch, but I had already coloured up and cut the image and frame before I realised what I had done.

So here goes anyways.

 

 

 

 

She is called Dragon Fly love. So I have put a big dragon fly on the front.

 

Coloured with copics. The sentiment I have stamped and embossed on matching paper . From Whimsy.

The frame is from spellbinders. I love their frames.

 

The vintage flourish is from cherry Lyn.

 

some bling added and whaalaaa here she is.

ROSETTA

Today I have made this card with Rosetta . An Artbymiran  digi image. I am quite pleased with the results. I have put a little gloss on her eyes and lips to make it pop. 

I have coloured her with copics.

The large flourish is from Cherry Lynn.

Colours used were 

Blues B29,26,24,21

Hair, E 57,55,53,50

Roses, Y,21  RV, 34,32,11

VICTORIA

I have been waiting ages to post this card on my blog. A friend asked me if I would like to be her card buddy , which means I make her a card and she makes me one. So this is what I did for her. She loved this Sugar Nellie image called Victoria. 

Isn't she just a stunning little girl.? 

I have coloured her with copics. The frame is spellbinders.

I made the little envelope and stamped a whimsy tag on it

which I have embossed.

The heart is cherry Lyn.

trellis rose, open roses,small gardenia and hip rosebuds.

SEPTEMBER ROSE

I got some more lovely Whimsy stamps  by Elizabeth Bell and this one is called " September Rose " I think she is lovely. 

She is coloured with Copics. I have used a Cherry Lynn frame. The border across the bottom with the butterflies is from memory box. 

She looks so serene. More gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Even a little bead cap with a pearl in it . Seam binding ribbon for a bow. The sentiment is I think from Kazzazz.

A LITTLE PPINKY CELEBRATION

I am thrilled to tell you that I was chosen to be on the Ppinkydolls new release team as a DT. So I made a little card to celebrate. 

These little images are so lovely and quite unique. You can find the Ppinkydolls stamps at ETSY here.

NOT EXACTLY A WOLF

The Paper Shelter had some new stamps ,so I thought I would give this one a colourup. Mind you after two hours of colouring, and almost finished apart from the dog, I stuffed it up and had to start again. Here is the finished product.

I just love these colours. I love to experiment with different colour combo's. She is done with copic markers.

The frame is spellbinders,the lovely border die is from Noor Design.

All flowers except the big one is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The sentiments are from Whimsy small postage stamps and die. 

I have drawn some spots with the copic on the background. 

Colours used were.....

YR 20,21,23,24 and E15

The greens were BG 57,53,11 49. 

The beautiful paper was one I had in my stash from Kaisercraft.

Must see if I can get some more of this.

A LITTLE BIRDIE TOLD ME ........

Time for another Whimsy Stamp. Done by Elizabeth Bell. She is called " Little Sweet Tweeter " and you can find her here.

I have used a Tonic die for the frame and frantaged a little around the image.The sentiment is computer generated. 

The little birdcage is a Tim Holtz die. I love the colour of those little pink roses. I have no idea where they came from, but the other flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
