OUT OF THE COMFORT ZONE !!

Hello Blog peeps ....

 

I have called this post " out of the comfort zone" because that is what this card is for me.

 

 

I have done something completely different from my usual type of card.

 

This is a new Saturated Canary digi image.

 

 

 

I have distressed all the edges and inked them up with Vintage Photo distress ink.

 

The papers I have used are from Michelle R designs digital papers.

 

Called Shabby Purple Charms.

 

 I have used some frontage around the image.

I dyed the lace with some walnut crystals to grubby it up.

 

I knew all those old flowers I have been hanging onto would come in handy one day. It doesn't pay to throw anything out, you never know when you may need it.

The butterflies are a Noor Design border and the birdcage is a Dixie die.

 

Sentiment from Whimsy ticket stamps and die.

 

 

I enjoyed making this card and think I might do another tomorrow. !

I have been stamp surfin' over at Mo's digital pencil and I have been looking for an image that I could you with this really neat sentiment stamp.

 

 

I found this one and thought it was quite cute.

 

 

 

Thinking this would be such a nice card to give to a friend.

 

 

 

I have used a nice paper from Kaisercraft called "Forget me not "

 

The sentiment is from a set of Hot off the Press.

 

Frane from Spellbinders and flourish is Memory Box.

 

She is done with copics.

 

 

Chair colours , W5,3,1.

 

Pants , B95,93,91

 

Top, RV 69,95,93,90

I have coloured her with copics.

 

 

The butterfly die is a Tim Holtz die. and the flower is from Tattered lace dies.

 

I have used a Kaisercraft paper called "75cents"

 

 

Some seam binding ribbon and some flowers from Wild Orchid crafts to finish my card off nicely.

 

 

Colours used were.

 

Dress BG 90,93,96,99.

Gold , Y21,23,26,28

 

Hair , E59,57,  Y21

Today is world challenge day over at Elisabeth Bells world challenge blog.

Today I have made a card just for fun.

I saw this stamp over at Mo,s Digital Pencil and thought it was just soooo cute.

 

It is called Romeo

 

 

 

 

 

I have coloured this with copics.

 

Spellbinders frame and a Marianne lamp post which I have put a little frantage on.

 

Colours used were

 

RV 69,66,63,00 for the pinks

W 7,5,3,1 For the boys clothes and boots.

I have used muted brown tones to give it a country flavour.

Today is the new  Sweet Pea Challenge.

 

I have done one of Lynne Stansberry's new digi stamps called

"Devotion"

The frame is from Paper Artist.Sentiment is one of the LOTV grungy sentiments sets.

I have used the large flourish from the Doohickeys club collection set along with the little round tag.

Some little satin flowers and trims to match.

Browns E29,25,27,23,50

 

My papers are from Michelle R Designs digital the magnolia set I think.
